Jordan Bowes will take the wheel of Dads’ Mini pictured above at Croft (March 2015)
Stuart will be back on the grid in Retro Rallycross soon however, as the Bowes Rallycross Team plan to build a sister-car for their iconic Mini, allowing both drivers to compete.
Bowes junior will race one of three Minis this weekend at Pembrey, as Retro stalwart Lance Foster returns to the Welsh venue looking for a repeat of his giant killing performance at the circuit last season. Like the Bowes family, Ian Shelly is a relative newcomer to the Retro family, but will be hoping for a strong event on his first visit to Pembrey for some time.
Volkswagen Beetle driver James Harrold claimed victory at the first round at Croft, but spun out of the closing stages of the final at round two, Lydden Hill and will be hoping for a better result this weekend. 2014 John Button Memorial Trophy winner, Ray Morgan went well at Pembrey in 2014 and will be looking to chalk up his first win of the season in Wales.
Danny Graves returns to the Retro Rallycross grid in his four wheel-drive Mazda 323, while regular racer Paul Smith got his 2015 campaign off to a great start with two committed drives at Croft and Lydden Hill, and will make the journey from the Midlands to South Wales this weekend looking for a repeat performance.
